Everbody has their own pick. your best bet is a cummins. I drive a semi and have for 20 years. They are the cheapest to repair. If you do buy a diesel buy one that has rear acces to the belts and hoses or else you will kick yourself. Trying to do servive through the inside of the motorhome tends to make a mess

I've been told by diesel folks that the Cummins will get 2-3 more miles a gallon than a Cat. Any one know different?

that old Detroit is pretty strong but I hear it takes a lot of money to keep it going.

I have a Detroit 6v 92 silver engine (knock on wood) that has had nothing go wrong with it for 70,000 miles and have had the oil changed only 3 times with Amsoil synthetic 15w 40 oil. It's basically a bus engine that will run and run and run.

Why pay Retail for Amsoil synthetic lubricants? For info on preferred customer program for factory direct wholesale prices e-mail george@oilhelp.com or www.oilhelp.com or call 1-800-887-6698.
