we have a 89 gulf stream and dont have any problems. I have found that on our's ther is a rubber flap that drapes down over the top of the radiator from the body of the motorhome . I just punched some holes through the rubber and tied it up so more air has a chance to move through the engine area. When I lift up my engine acces cover while i am driving i can feel the air is much cooler than with the flap down
