I have a Eaton rearend that has been "fixed" once with new parts and bearings. It still whines in the 60-65 MPH driving range. When the motor home is under load like climbing a hill it is louder. There is a resonate vibration also. That's what I was told. I suppose that means it kind of vibrates more at the top of a cycle that the bottom of a cycle. It's in a pusher.

Anyone know a fix or have a similar problem?

your problem might be with the gear ratio of the rear end. It might not be geared right for your set up.Have someone check that out.

Sounds like a factory defect to me. That's waht you hear in the 18 wheelers rearends.

Ron,
I would take an fluid sample from the rearend to make sure it isn't coming apart. If everything is fine, wear wise, then you might just have to live with it. You could try some synthetic 75W 140 gearlube in it to see if it will muffle the sound. Through the years I have installed Amsoil gear oil in different differentials and trannys that were making noises and fixed some of them, but not all of them.

Why pay Retail for Amsoil synthetic lubricants? For info on preferred customer program for factory direct wholesale prices e-mail george@oilhelp.com or www.oilhelp.com or call 1-800-887-6698.
