I'm finding more and more that it is difficult to use sewer hose drain ends at a lot of older park RV sites. You would think that suppliers and/or manufacturers would include a smaller connection adapter piece with their product. We should all include in our sewer hose dump arsenal an adapter that is smaller than the conventional end piece our hoses have.

And why, do you suppose, do most of the RV parks have the sewer connection at the rear of the pad? Most motor homes have the sewer dump about in the middle of the coach. Can't reach most of them with even a 20ft hose.

My pet peeve is campsites where the fresh water hydrant is RIGHT NEXT to the dump pipe! How sanitary can that be?

Not very. You would think the folks that make and manage those parks would think about stuff like that. I carry two sets of gloves, one for sewer connecting and one for clean water connecting.
