This is my 4th coach (2nd new). Last new coach was a DutchStar purchased from Ron Hoover. NEVER AGAIN!!
This coach has a lot of "bells and whistles", ie: 3 roof A/C's, tile flooring, king size bed, electric shades, central vac system, 400 hp, 8 kw gen, black leather sofas, 4 flat screen TV's, gas BBQ grill, outside TV and cooler, 7.5' ceiling. The maiden voyage had great ride and power. So far the "bugs" are minor, ie: driving mirrors seem extremely loose, night driving difficult on low beam- need to drive w/high beam, shade bracketts not anchoer and rattle, bay storage doors can easily open in lock position, door awning rod not delivered w/coach, tailpipe muffler drags ground severly when pulling into truck stop- already bent tailpipe and cracked fibreglass, bracketts for blinds misaligned, valances also misaligned, sofa seatbelts not properly positioned. All "should" be minor fixes by dealer.
This will dtermine "service after the sell". Dealer is Motor Home Specialist in Alvarado, TX. Buying was pleasant and easy, not pushy and well informed. Gulf Stream has been around a long time and has some disgruntled customers and technicians, but so does Newmar- I'm one. This coach looks great and drives great. Well see how every thing endures time and travel, and how the little things get fixed.
