Review Title:poor customer service
Review:

we ordered our golfstream tourmaster and waited for 13 weeks to get it. when it came in it was built wrong. wrong flooring (was supposed to be tile but came with vinyl. so back to the factory for another 2 weeks. after another week and a half for dealer prep. there were many things that they could not fix and we had a caravan trip scheduled and could not wait for it to go back to the factory again. agreed to take it to factory on way back from our trip. at 900 miles the air cleaner pluged up and all across the usa from davenport ia. to los angeles and back none of the freightliner shops we were fererred to or found could get us onefinally got back to davenport to the freightliner shop and waited thru 6 days and two lost on the computer orders, we went to a detroit deisel dealer and with the help of their parts manager we had one overnight and got on our way again. at 9000 miles both front tires were worn down to the stee cord on the outside edge of each tire. ther was also a banging sound under the front floor. the tv picture disolves in the heat of the day but is ok when the weather is overcast or cool. after being told for 2 weeks at the factory that they could not find a problem , we had to pay another $2500 and left. there were six other couples there all with the same story. the factory customer service rep 's ongoing statement was i'm working on it. i found outher owners that she had been telling that to for the past 12 mos.
finally out in az the freight liner shop at tolleson found that the rear axel was never properly torqued to the mounts and was moving first one side ahead of the other then the other side would move ahead. this resulted in the rig dog tracking left then right. there are several other items still not resolved. i did finally get a check from freightliner for part of the money and then a few weels later a check from golfstream. i am still out about $800. i have been back at the dealer in davenport sitting here now for 5 weeks waiting for parts and all of last week even as i sit on their lot and in fact pluged into their electricity no one even said so much as helo to us all week. i have writen to the ceo and other officers of gulfstream several months ago, an 18 page letter. i have not heard a word from them they did direct that same customer noservice girl to call me back but i would have expected at leat an aknowledgement to my letter. nothing, as i stated in that letter " it is not that things go wrong, these things are massproduced, things will go wrong, it is what you do about it that makes for a grate company and product at a sales price of over $200,000 gulfstream fails and i would not go across the street for a free gulfstream or freightliner product. my previous coach was a rexhall vision. that company stands behind the productso well that even after i was out of warranty they made repair and told me the part should not have broken and there was no charge
